MMR STUDIO基于对家居空间、人的意识与材料生命的思考，试图通过家具设计，重新打开这些空间，让亲密的情绪从黑匣子中流淌出来。线性素描家具 LINEAR SKECTHES 目前开发了四件模组，以波楞面相互咬合作为连接，以线面的工字结合作为支撑，呈现出开放的空间体块。

线性让空间的分割更加灵动，并借鉴搓衣板的凹槽形态，一种强有力的嵌入空间的形式，给不同线的相交提供了暧昧的透明空间，从而脱离了纯功能性和社会叙事的诉求，不再是为了某种生产和欲望的需求而存在，而是因为存在本身，提供了素描般的诗意空间。


Based on the research of human space, human consciousness and material life, MMR Studio tries to reopen these spaces through furniture design, so that intimate emotions flow out of the “black box”. “Linear sketch” has currently launched four modules, which are connected by the interlocking of corrugated surfaces and supported by the I-shaped combination of lines and surfaces, presenting an open space block.

The linearity makes the division of space more flexible, and draws on the groove shape of the washboard, a form of strong embedded space, which provides an ambiguous and transparent space for the intersection of different lines, thus breaking away from the purely functional and social narrative. Appeals no longer exist for the needs of some kind of production and desire, but because of existence itself, it provides a sketch-like poetic space.
