微风振动
BREEZE VIBRATION

[微风振动]是一款由金属圆管和8毫米的金属薄片构成的灯具，同时也是一个环境装置作品。MMR 借用[微风振动]这一流体力学的术语来表达一种不稳定的状态，进而重现那些一晃而过的光线和被风吹过的叶片。除了 MMR 一如贯之的理性秩序以外，这一作品流露出了视觉上不易被察觉，在空间体验上轻柔的脆弱感。经过的脚步带来地板的颤动，不经意间溜进来的一股小风，都会带动薄片的晃动，通过金属的摩挲，发出风铃般的声响。


Breeze Vibrations is a luminaire and environmental installation made of metal tubes and 8 mm thin slices. MMR uses the term "breeze vibrations" from fluid dynamics to express a state of instability, thus reappearing passing light and wind-blown leaves. In addition to MMR's consistent rational order, this work reveals a visual imperceptibility and a gentle fragility in the experience of space. The trembling of the floor from passing footsteps or a small breeze that slips in unnoticed will cause the thin slices to shake and make a chiming sound through the brushing of metal.
